And for the first time, personalised e-cards are made available, allowing donators to send loved ones a custom note when a donation is made on their behalf.
Bringing scientists and orchestras together to reinterpret Vivaldi’s original Four Seasons score. The score has been altered using the latest climate modelling data from the IPCC report’s RCP 8.5 future scenario, which assumes no concerted effort to restrict greenhouse gas emissions. Launching with a performance by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra at the 2021 Sydney Festival, a localised variation of The [Uncertain] Four Seasons has been released for every orchestra in the world. Musicians are encouraged to perform their variation for audiences worldwide in the lead up to the 2021 UN Climate Change Conference.
In a year confined to the couch, Netflix took us on a wild ride. As one of this year’s few entertainment options, Netflix is both a source of sanity, but also endless scrolling. Audiences had spent so many hours in front of screens that there was a collective feeling that everything had been watched on the platform. Avoiding those somber feelings of 2020, the viewing became a celebration, a joyful playlist in an otherwise melancholy year.
Illuminate the embers of conversation. Our collective appetite for screen time means the art of discussion is being lost. The Bondfire app has been designed to manage screen time around the dinner table by turning your phone into a rich virtual centrepiece for sparking connections. Start a Bondfire and share the unique code with your loved ones. Each phone becomes a 3D log to stack together creating a fire that grows bigger and brighter as each new person joins to the comforting sound of the crackling flames, evoking the warmth of a real fire. Leave the expansive virtual fire to burn while you reconnect. A gift of conversation. The Bondfire experience provides a visually inviting new way to facilitate connections and bring magic and delight to families this holiday season, including voice capabilities that enable remote users to join the conversation too. Download the app for free on iOS and Android.
