7yThank you for your feedback. Diversity and inclusion is certainly an area we're working on at VMIA and we recognise there is always lots more we can do.
As part of our roadmap of activity, we've introduced a graduate program and made a commitment to gender equity. We're proud of our pay parity progress to close the pay gap between men and women by June 30, 2019 (currently 5.5% compared to 32% across the insurance industry) and of the work being done to remove barriers for women employees to have the same opportunities to thrive and progress as men.
However we also need to maximise inclusiveness for people living with a disability, the LGBTI community and our first Australians to value people from all backgrounds.
