Serco Group interview questions

Applied with CV, then sent through an online video submission interview, then invited to a teams interview. Got on really well, positive experience and the two interviews were lovely. I had an email a few days later saying I had not been successful with this position however they would like to offer me a different FTC for the same role in a different department— Great! Then it all changed… They sent through more information such as pay, hours, responsibilities, and asked if I would like to accept. Terminology such as “I would like to offer you an 6 month fixed term contract”. After a day or two, I accepted and then was completely ghosted. Followed up emails with them asking for a written notification of acceptance so I could start with handing my notice in… Nothing. Completely silence from them and I noticed they had advertised the job on LinkedIn the same day I had accepted! basically seemed as though they had rescinded the offer of a job without telling me, not even having the decency to apologise or offer a reason why. Completely unprofessional and treated me poorly.

The process was fair and complete with tough but fair, thoughtful, and clever questions. I was never made to feel like my time was not respected. The process involved both over the phone screening, virtual interview, and in person.
