AIRTRUNK SYD2 | This week we opened the doors to our second Sydney data centre, AirTrunk SYD2! Phase 1 was delivered in just 35 weeks, with 2,800 people onsite working 400,000 hours in total. Our proudest achievement was sending our team home safely with zero lost time injuries across the project. Scalable to over 110MW of total capacity, AirTrunk SYD2 is built to support the growth of cloud in Sydney’s north. AIRTRUNK MEL1 | Another huge expansion of our Melbourne data centre is now complete, ready in record time for our customers. Powering through COVID-19 challenges, the AirTrunk team delivered the initial stage of Phase 4 in under 34 weeks – that’s TWO months ahead of schedule, with ZERO lost time injuries across 265,000 work hours. And we’re not done yet… the next expansion is already underway at MEL1, Australia’s joint largest data centre (130 MW total capacity).

AIRTRUNK SYD1 | WE’RE READY to go with a massive expansion underway at our Western Sydney data centre. With over 40MW of capacity, Phase 5 of AirTrunk SYD1 is being custom built to meet the needs of the cloud. The existing building was demolished in just 2 weeks, and we’re now building at ground-breaking speed, keeping our people on the ground safe. AirTrunk SYD1 will be Australia’s joint largest independent data centre, along with sister data centre MEL1, both coming in at over 130MW total capacity.
AIRTRUNK SGP1 | Late last year we officially opened Singapore’s largest and most efficient independent data centre, AirTrunk SGP1. AirTrunk Deputy CEO and Chief Technology Officer, Michael Juniper and Damien Spillane, were joined by Guest of Honour, Lew Chuen Hong, Chief Executive, IMDA and Kiren Kumar, Chief Digital Officer, Digital Industry Singapore. AirTrunk SGP1 is ready to power the cloud in Singapore and beyond, offering over 60 megawatts and an industry-low design PUE of 1.25. AirTrunk is expanding into Japan with the largest independent data centre in APAC! Today we announced the latest addition to our hyperscale data centre platform - AirTrunk TOK1, a new seven-building 300+ MW data centre in Inzai, Tokyo region. Designed so hyperscale cloud customers can scale quickly, TOK1 is located in Inzai's data centre hub, with strong international and domestic connectivity, high voltage power to the site and an ultra-low PUE. Congratulations to all involved including Damien Spillane, Nori Matsushita, Thomas Bouvagnet, Rob Lomas, Jason Corbett and the rest of the incredible AirTrunk team in Japan and across APAC.
