Pros

Working as a designer in the Customer & Marketing team allows you to be exposed to many opportunities, from working in the studio with the in-house photographer, attending outdoor shoots, managing social media platform such as TikTok and idealising content for it, the various types of design mediums that you'll be exposed to such as stadium LEDs to rolling out an entire campaigns for in store POS, digital OOH and a print Catalogue to name a few!

Cons

A downside is that you'll be expected to perform all the tasks you may have wanted to dip your toes in constantly or even permanently take on that is way outside your pay grade - the reason why there are many opportunities is because there are role gaps, management coats it as growth opportunity but really it comes down to not having enough people or taking way too much onboard/inhouse with unrealistic timelines. The workflow processes and file management need to be sorted as there was no real solution - files were scattered across GoogleDrive, Dropbox and Personal Harddrives , the creatives I felt were just not truly seen as an asset in the business, evident in the amount of contractors they hire to avoid having to "fire" anyone when they can just use contractors. To sum it up, rebel is a great place to start, learn and expand your skills and prepare you for any job out there, but its not a place id recommend anyone staying for long due to the poor work life balance, low pay and expectation to perform all duties on that pay.
