Pros

Some of the people are nice. The other pro was leaving.

Cons

The culture is really bad, staff welfare despite published position is a far second to partner profits which means high staff turnover The billable hours are high plus loads of non billable stuff means forget work life balance The feel of the place and infrastructure is not global or top tier for instance Sydney office requires urgent overhaul of office, printers, computers. Everything is very old. Good office clean wouldn't be a bad idea The staff kitchen probably wouldn't pass any kind of health inspection HR are useless, only care about partner's whims and are never held accountable for anything. Don't expect them to help if you contact with a problem Contacting IT for anything is the biggest waste of time again not held accountable Pay below market rate and then expect CPI or no increase No clear vision or strategy, nothing innovative or creative, information cascaded to staff even at senior level very limited This is a mid tier firm hiding behind a global banner Felt miserable working here

Pros

I am trying really hard to thing of something positive but nothing is coming to mind.

Cons

Absolute salt mine with nasty partners and management and a very toxic culture. Working here is working towards developing serious mental illness. Graduates and anyone who values their health should avoid at all costs. You will regret accepting any job offer.

Pros

None. I struggle to think of anything good about this firm as an employer

Cons

What I experienced and observed at this firm made my skin crawl. Several senior people in the team in which I worked were viciously toxic and set about to try to belittle, demoralise and destroy other people. Gossip, belittling behaviour, cut-throat competition for the good work, extreme hierarchical culture, egoism like you would not believe and people actively undermining each other was the norm. Worse still, people daily feared for their jobs and were experiencing mental health issues.
