Pros

The company is always trying to think of ways to boost office culture and do so with once a month mini massages, office lunch, drinks fridge, bday celebration Internal team are largely inclusive and close relationships are fostered

Cons

So much redundancy in the face of losing profit Higher ups also speak to wider team in a way that seems disconnected and out of touch

Pros

50% off food and bev Free activities for life after 5 years of service Best position in the company is as a casual FOH member, any other position within the venues places an insane amount of stress on you. Can be a fantastic workplace if you have the right venue manager who likes you.

Cons

Overworks staff Promises to put their “motherfunners” first, claim to focus on culture. However, since Covid the culture had dropped immensely with more of a focus on “how can we take advantage of you” Company does not deal with HR claims appropriately. I know cases of multiple men with many true allegations made, that were moved to a different venue by upper management to avoid the situation. Favouritism is rampant There is a limit to progression, you will be promised lots but given very little.

Pros

50% off food and bev Free activites Access to employee assistance program Development opportunities for those who have connections or are favoured by management Lovely casual staff Accepting of LGBTQIA+

Cons

Upper management is insanely toxic, breeds a fake culture of happiness, "communication", "support". In reality, the company focuses on bottom line and profit, and uses the staff like pawns for their own gain (which is expected - a business has to make profit), however the safety, comfortability and happiness of staff is often not considered. Labour is so tight S*xual harassment and bullying cases are not dealt with appropriately, making the work environment feel very uncomfortable and upsetting. Even after being raised to HR, they say they have taken the correct steps, however the perpetrators still work there Ableist against disabilities, despite saying they foster an inclusive environment. You are seen as making excuses if you are disabled, in pain or sick As a manager, you often find yourself doing tasks from home or communicating with the other managers from home - feels like its pushing the boundaries of the right to disconnect
