I have never been paid more money to do less work in my life. Colleagues are generally nice but split between young grads who don’t know better yet and corporate yes men.
Cons
It’s not that there’s bad leadership in head office there just seems to be an entire absence of leadership. Meetings are circular events where nothing is decided, everyone frets about preparing papers for more meetings, there seem to be no deliverables, and everyone seems to be fine with it. Senior executives seem to lack the technical expertise to deliver on anything, but if you provide feedback that is not corporate word salad telling your boss they are amazing you will be isolated. If your boss is threatened by you, you can guarantee you will never get into any meetings where someone else might see your skills. Unless you want to be managed by senior people who think running a document through AI is a good review, run.
