Pros

The training process was pleasant and useful. I had minimum teaching or coding experience, but after training I was confident to start my job. I also liked the culture because I was essentially working with young people or people who like children therefore patient and nice.

Cons

A lot of the placements I got was quite far away a bit all over the place.

Pros

I've been working for code camp since 2017 and its a great way for teachers/ students/ computer nerds to earn a bit of extra cash if you are able to deal with keeping a classroom full of primary school kids under control.

Cons

Small teams of staff working on a school site, everyone must know what their role is and what the procedures are. Not really a con unless you don't like teamwork.
