Expect Short Shifts & No Satisfaction
Pros
The actual job itself is easy and the pay is good for what you do. For a second job where you do not care about career progression or feeling a sense of belonging then it can work to some extent.
Cons
The shifts are short (3-4 hours) with barely any opportunity to extend that. If you are called in, it will be on very short notice disrupting your work/life balance. There is heavy favouritism towards certain co-workers. There are way to many employees already that cause mass underemployment. Gossip is widespread and you will feel like you are walking on eggshells. You will never be praised and most importantly, the new way they are handling rosters is cruel and inhumane. Everyone who works casually, aka you, is guaranteed 0 hours. Shifts are put on the company app at random and the first person who accepts it gets it. It creates a 'fight against your co-workers' mentally and relys you to be on your phone 24/7.
