      Pros

      There is honestly nothing nice I can say about BN. It was a traumatic experience. The bad outweighed any good by far.

      Cons

      Honestly one of the worst workplaces I have ever worked at. Disrespectful treatment of staff, no empathy at all. The support staff had a turnover of more than 10 people in a 12 month period. Many people I spoke to before leaving had plans to leave themselves in the near future. Avoid this place and don't put yourself through it! Systems are archaic. Cold and nasty attitudes of senior lawyers and leaders. Culture is uncomfortable and stressed. Personally experienced verbal abuse. The whole experience there was a con!

      They have decent work The hours are ok

      Cons

      They are very patriarchal. Tend not to like anyone who might challenge them. The partnership is very old-fashioned and expect people to toe the line. Constructive criticism is met with defensiveness and will result in you being branded "negative". Very blokey. Old-fashioned and Not terribly inclusive

      Pros

      None - all their commitment to work flexibility/giving you every second friday off is a lie. you'd never be able to take it off due to workload. even if you do, people make you feel so guilty you never end up taking them. It's just for the organisation to tick a box so they get 'employer of the year' (no idea how!)

      Cons

      Everything - management down to the people you work with. look at the location of the offices within BN on where the good reviews are coming from. There's a reason why there's a certain office location within BN is never reviewed.
