It’s all in the name… we’ve evolved from a small company into a globally relevant gold mining business with a reputation of delivering value for all stakeholders. Underpinning it all, is our Australian story and spirit.
We were created in late 2011 and operate six wholly owned mines across Australia and Ontario, Canada. In addition, we hold an economic interest in the Ernest Henry copper-gold mine in Queensland. We are proud of our sustainability efforts with a focus to deliver long-term stakeholder value through safe, low-cost gold production in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.
Evolution has been announced as winner of the NSW Mining Safety Excellence Award and coming runner up in the Community Excellence Award (August 2017), NSW Mining operation of the year awarded by NSW Minerals Councils(April 2017), Craig Oliver Award, RIU Explorers Conference (February 2017), 2016 Miner of the year, Australian Gold Mining Journal (February 2017), 2016 Dealer Award at Diggers and Dealers (August 2016), Best Asia-Pacific Mining Deal at Mines and Money Hong Kong (April 2016) and winner of 8th Annual international M&W awards (April 2016).

We are proud to be included into the globally recognised Australian Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) which recognises leaders in sustainability. The DJSI have been tracking the financial performance of companies that are corporate sustainability leaders in their respective industries since 1999 and have since have become the gold standard for sustainability.
Evolution is 1 of only 2 Aussie gold companies, 1 of only 7 Australian companies and 1 of only 23 members in the world from 4,700 companies assessed, to make into the DJSI.
