Pros

A solid percent of your colleagues who suffer with you provide great support for times where you don't feel like you can take any more. Built some great friendships.

Cons

Everything else. Not only does illion promote a bullying culture, where management pit you against everyone else, but you are constantly lied to, not communicated to, made to feel incompetent and stupid, but threatened with your job on a daily basis. illion also refuses to do anything about sexual harassment, bigotry, and sexism. They gaslight on the regular, and rather than taking any criticism and concerns from the "reviews", they will outwardly call YOU toxic and damaging, whilst making you work 15 hour days because if you don't, you WILL be told to get your resume ready. You will be underpaid. You will be undervalued. You will have your managers (except the rare couple who are actually decent people who care for their teams, but cop the abuse from above them) beating their chest, not supporting you in ANY way, and not taking any accountability. Be careful who you trust. Don't be fooled by their bs. You will be pulling knives out of your back while flying through the air on your way being thrown under a bus. Oh, and forget about meeting KPI's and getting any kind of pay review. These guys are so corrupt they forced people to sign up for job keeper so the company could get at least 500k a quarter, and staff would see none of it. illion is the most unethical and corrupt business I have ever had the displeasure working for.

Pros

They pay ok base salaries in sales

Cons

The fish rots at the head and CEO Simon Bligh has created a very, very toxic culture (think corporate hell) ALL execs in place particularly the CSO Kevin de beers are YES people that exist only to execute on behalf of CEO Employee morale as low as shark droppings Poor sales commission plan (claw back and unrealistic targets set) Do not work there under any circumstances unless you are financially desperate Execs don't believe in worklife balance, they expect you to dedicate your life for the cause at expense of family /friends The CEO's need for control by micro managing the sales function past breaking point Execs have KPIs for positive employee website reviews which is why there are any positive reviews being posted Many external recruiters have proactively stopped working for illion which says it all

Pros

The staff whom share a common view of how bad the place is. You'll make friendships just by this association alone.

Cons

The staff got a 'care pack' of a face mask, packet of tissues, and a packet of four small gummy bears. Along with that was a photocopied sloppy hand written note from the organisation head who honestly couldn't care less about you as the employee. So much so, that in his weekly email to the staff, it stated that now we have these care packs, maybe you can stop posting negative reviews on Glassdoor. Well, this hasn't stopped me has it? Perhaps the way you treat people and the screwed up culture that's been instilled in this place is the problem? Gummy bears just aren't going to cut it I'm afraid. illion also threatened to sue Glassdoor to remove negative comments and also reveal who posted them... how rediculous is that!! Plus, this is the second time I had to post this review as illion had my original review removed due to a personal attack, well, it was obviously valid as the truth sometimes cuts deep. 12 people resigned on the same day recently. What's that say about the place? I'm so glad I'm out of there now and starting 2021 without people being suicidal. We were all told that the senior leadership team doesn't care about COVID and that you have to come into the office regardless - this was at the time of the Melbourne outbreak. Just a heartless organisation and leadership team... what a stupid word - leadership. DON'T WORK HERE!! DON'T WORK HERE!! DON'T WORK HERE!!
