Pros

Some of the brightest and helpful colleagues to work with. Opportunities to work across industries, domains and problem space. Best place to truly understand and learn Agile (the actual methodology, not what industry thinks is achieved by having a JIRA license)

Cons

Too much favoritism is destroying culture and faith. And counter for favoritism is another group creating their own favorites. If it goes like this then only groups of favorites will be left. People doing fluff and glossy work (read market, AI) but actually not bringing revenue and not having to handle difficult client conversations and deliver on ground are first in line to be promoted.

Pros

Inclusive culture, great engineering and agile delivery practices, work-life balance and mental health are emphasized and supported, flexibility such as fully remote or hybrid work, quite a lot of benefits, really nice offices.

Cons

After several rounds of layoffs, reorganizations, changes in leadership, pay rises freezes employees morale is quite low now. I appreciated horizontal structure Thoughtworks had before, and now things seem to be dictated from global, to regional, to country level with little or no room for adjustment to local reality.
