Sr. HR Manager was very threatened by anyone else that came across as being "better" at something, huge micromanaging culture. Aall top management are in other countries and pay little attention to Canada. There is also a perception of favoritism and a lack of support when employees raise valid concerns. Instead of fostering a safe and inclusive environment, interactions with HR feel intimidating or dismissive. This makes it difficult for employees to come forward with concerns or issues.
