Pros

made friends with sweet girls who just wanted to come in to work and have an income. made good use of the staff discount, and stylerunner carries cute clothes and reputable brands

Cons

extremely toxic environment with power tripping management. i sensed some microaggression and heavy underlining racism in the way some staff behaved, but it wouldn’t be to the extent where they can get called out for it - i bet they know that too because they’re sneaky with things like that. i understand working towards kpi and sales targets but they pitted girls against eachother unnecessarily. a whiteboard was kept in the back with our names written on it in ranks of who was performing the best to the worst, was this necessary? absolutely not. favouritism is extremely obvious and all of the above mentioned was covered by overtly excessive and extremely FAKE kindness. calling me “babes” will not negate the fact that you are all a bunch of 30 something year olds stuck with highschool mentalities. you’d think a store like this would be all about women empowerment

Pros

Free uniforms Store smelt nice Aesthetic working area

Cons

Literally everything else. Regional management would team up with casual team in store to make fun of staff, we had five girls in the span of 6 months quit due to the relentless bullying from team. Anastasia caused so much grief for our team, the rich girls whose daddy was friends with local millionaires were given priority. Finally, the team caused me and numerous other girls who left the team long term workplace anxiety, I wouldn’t recommend working here to anyone. They’d provide uniforms but only in size small so if you were above that size it was likely you’d be waiting a while before caving and buying leggings from the store just so you could work your shift
