Pros

The culture is fantastic, very fast paced, ambitious, driven and the company is full of talented people. The focus is on talent over experience, understanding people’s individual strengths and finding ways to develop people so they are continuously challenged and can grow.

Cons

The roles are busy and their are high expectations, however if this motivates you it is a perfect place to be given there are so many opportunities for you if you put in the effort and perform well.

Pros

Some nice people in the company.

Cons

Messianic charisma of the leadership (also very Narcissistic), that create a cult like work environment and employees are almost forced to or brainwashed to chant “We love Stryker”. Eventually, those that cannot be brainwashed, tend to leave the company or forced out of the company. If you want to get ahead in Stryker, don’t worry about academic or professional qualifications, get your self a book called “A guide to shameless brown nosing”. Managers are often very much like crazed dictators in a sense that they thrive on having their egos stroked and surround themselves with “yes men/women” who are duly rewarded. Which is a scary thought, when some of the people that end up on on top, have bare minimum qualifications, lack intellectual stimulation and zero innovative foresight. Pay is below market rate.

Pros

Looks all peachy to start with You won't go hungry if you work at Stryker

Cons

No work life balance - work only exists in Stryker world, expect to work 18+ hours a day 7 days a week It seems like they win a lot of awards - don't be fooled by this, they tell their employees how to answer survey's relating to what it's like to work there and they pay well to ensure a win on awards It's all about who you know
