Pros

Parking if you get there before 9:30

Cons

I lasted a bit under a year. This by far is the worst company I have ever worked for. I am not a person who usually writes reviews, but this place left me stressed and depressed. Literally feeling sick before going to work. Old school management, where they walk around thinking they are far superior. It was quite amusing to watch. Things like two monitors if you wanted one was a big no. But the managers there with their flashy monitors. Seeing IT with old monitors and scum balls wouldn't even let us have second-hand ones. During covid no social distancing what so ever, all on top of each other. Not allowed to work from home, the excuse is not enough laptops to go around. Definitely not a flexible working environment. When I first started I noticed people weren't overly warm or welcoming. Teams in the lunchroom all sitting alone at separate tables it was really weird. I think if you have any type of personality here you will not survive. I saw some really nice people leave the company prior to my departure, anyone that is smiley all bubbly and has an ounce of personality they don't like that, they just want robotic people. I am just glad to have gotten my way out of there. Oh, and you have to clock on and clock off each day. The way they monitor the staff is very questionable as well. What I took away from this job? I took away what a company shouldn't be like. Now I sleep well at night and happy each day going to work. Amazing what a years difference can make to one's mental health and well being.

Pros

Fast-paced environment and potential to learn a lot in a short period Good entry-level/starting company for graduates

Cons

Management are not supportive in career progression, held back for the most ridiculous reasons. Poor salary and pay-increases are only due to inflation but nothing else and literally minimum wage. Can be a toxic work environment especially during busy periods HR do nothing to help support if any issues/incidents occur Managers act on emotion and are not professional, they love to play favourites so if you are not on their list, you will not receive respect in any form. Micro-management to the absolute minute, regardless if overtime was done, it will not be paid and if you left early the next day to make up for overtime, it will be deducted in your next pay. They monitor your lunch breaks so even being 1 min over is worth a comment and loud enough for the whole team to hear. Allowed workplace bullying to occur which resulted in a lot of people leaving despite being very well-informed about the situations and to excuse it as "that is just how their personality is".

Pros

* Flex times * Onsite parking (fine print reads "parking only available IF you get there before 9:30 am")

Cons

* Level 2 Support on apps you've never worked on or been properly trained on. Yes, you will man the queue and not break for lunch for P1 issues even if they're outside your area of ability/expertise and will be expected to wait hand and foot on the Caché overlords to work their magic. Will leave you feeling like a monkey which is what most IT staff here are reduced to anyway since no one wants to learn Caché in this day and age. * You will be underappreciated and underpaid - management has no clue who's done the lion's share of work on a project, so tough luck if you're a hardworking employee. * Colleagues are typically B-talent - many leave you wondering how they got hired in the first place. Some FA008 docs are a work of art where the author itself has no idea about what was written. * Promotions based on tenure not ability.
