Pros

Good location if you want to be in a quieter part of the city, but close enough to the action. Work hours.

Cons

Forced shut down and annual leave over the xmas / new year period. Lack of investment in people and technology. You really feel like a commodity to be used. Lack of professionalism, ethics in dealing with staff. Bullying culture, which starts from the very top (chairman and CEO) which is therefore accepted as normal behaviour down the line and "paid forward".

Pros

The people there are great. there is a social atmosphere and people get together and have a drink on friday night.

Cons

Company is stuck in a bygone era. Backwards practices, terrible salaries and a CEO and an owner who micromanage (often by walking the floors and yelling at people). Avoid!!

Pros

Talented, interesting people. Good about offering new opportunities to current staff - I was able to gain experience in several different areas. Great work/life balance (if you don't work in client services). Daily rations of BBQ shapes - if you're quick.

Cons

"Sink or swim" sums up the training here - or lack thereof. Very old school "boys club" mentality in client services dept. Delightful culture of credit stealing, hand-balling and belittlement which serves to wear you down so you don't put up a fight come review time, where they announce that employees won't be getting a payrise yet again, but should still consider themselves lucky to have their (barely award wage) job in "current market conditions".
