Pros

Good for investors, stock holders. Fantastic for Directors, VP's, COO's , SNR Managment of ResMed for growing their wealth with stock options worth millions

Cons

• talented engineers are bullied and not guided properly • all focus on psychological profiling and less on technical capabilities • insulting HR policies, overwork their team members and keep people in fear for their jobs • staff are working often harder and longer hours thanklessly and out of fear

Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Our Verification & Validation department has an open curious culture where the engineers are encouraged and empowered to excel, explore, challenge, grow and perform. Globally we focus on talent development encompassing both technical and behavioural attributes with ongoing conversations that is open and transparent whereby all concerns are shared and discussed in an open and safe environment. My team and I encourage our team-members to engage and shape their working environment and I do want to reassure you that we have a collaborative and effective learning environment where experimentations are encouraged to allow growth and innovation.

Poor management getting worse

Pros

- Nice facilities, gym, decent pay, undercover parking. - Opportunities to explore varied roles within the company.

Cons

- Cuts corners on quality and safety to meet development timelines. - Professional and personal development programs are lacking, particularly for technical roles - Low morale amongst development teams due to optimistic / unrealistic timelines that inevitably lead to late delivery / failure and inefficiency - Reactionary roadmaps rather than appropriate strategic planning - Unable to acknowledge failure, management continue to push programs to ever more optimistic deadlines, cutting more corners. Bullying is rampant. - Management will often promote those with similar (bullish) personalities to their own even if they lack sufficient experience for the role. Decisions are often made without adequate knowledge on the particular subject rather than listening to employees. - improvements that can increase long term efficiency are de-prioritised in favour of those that provide more immediate returns - there is a toxic culture of political games and personal sensitivity that is getting worse, for example: 4 senior managers for product development across 3 business units who can't agree with one another.

Nothing is more important at ResMed than the safety of our employees and patients. We will take all measures necessary to attend to any identified risks or concerns in our workplace or related to product and patient safety. In relation to the other details in your review, what you are describing is not consistent with our company’s values or how we encourage our teams to operate. Together we have built a world class brand and differentiate on Quality. We are committed to providing a work environment which is free from unlawful discrimination, harassment, victimisation and workplace bullying. Given the serious nature of your review, I would personally like the opportunity to gain more information in order to address these concerns. Pros

Beautiful campus and some people are very nice.

Cons

This company is too top heavy. The culture is one of nepotism, bureaucracy, favoritism, bullying with zero opportunity for growth or development and training in non-existent. You feel on your own. Management protect each other leaving you to take the falls. Then they sneak you out cloak 'n dagger style with a non-compete, telling staff that you had decided to leave to pursue other opportunities. You cannot defend yourself as they have too much financial backing.
