Corporate Slavery - Perfect for someone which has no life.
Pros
There is a paycheck once a week.
Cons
Zero work/life balance - you are expected to cancel all of your personal plans at the drop of a hat, regardless whether you have on-call obligations or not. Expenses not reimbursed - not processed due to managerial incompetence. No pay rise when promised - yearly salary increases not given despite being part of your contract. No training when promised - any training provided was in-house, with proprietary hardware or software, with no nationally recognised qualifications. No vendor specific or required training provided. You are expected to complete any industry required training on your own time and at your own expense. No support - Essentially on your own, left to "figure it out", "sink or swim" mentality. Extremely poor management - Bullying and harassment, uses scare tactics to demand compliance. No previous managerial experience - not willing to take responsibility for their roles. Unethical behaviour, unable to leave personal issues at home. No recognition - asked to perform tasks outside required duties with no credit given. No opportunities for advancement - nil encouragement given for career progression.
