Pros

Good work from home opportunities.

Cons

Glassdoor reviews can be misleading as employees are often encouraged to leave reviews during Month 1 Onboarding, which is a highly empowering experience. However, the culture and values promoted during onboarding are not practiced in day-to-day work. Managers can be dishonest and emotionally manipulative, prioritizing their own success over the well-being of the customer, the representative, or the business as a whole. Employees are pressured to work even if they are unwell or dealing with personal issues. It's Russian roulette whether you receive a competent and skilled manager. If you don't, say goodbye to your success in this company. Teams compete over the same pool of potential opportunity, which puts Managers at odds with one-another, leading to a culture of self-interest and a lack of collaboration. The company has struggled to adapt to its substantial growth, with targets and KPIs increasing regardless of the economic downturn. Many managers who were promoted based on their performance in easier times are unable to adapt to a more challenging selling environment and reject fresh ideas and different opinions. Upper management has not taken significant steps to support employees on the ground or address complaints.

Pros

- Amazing Product that will conquer the market - Work with some truly talented people - RSUs & ESPP

Cons

- HubSpot promotes their inclusive remote work culture through the interview process however the reality is that if you work remotely there is never any budget to fly in for customer events, milestone team catch-ups, kickoffs etc. Very quickly you feel excluded and isolated. Zoom links to company events don't solve this issue. - No recognition of the little things that contribute to a team environment. Birthdays etc. - Attrition and rep churn is like nothing I've ever seen before. Most just disappear. The concerning thing is that managers are somewhat incentivised to churn their team in a tough market as new reps have a lower ramping quota which reduces overall team quota. - Segment territories have improved recently however still a lot to go to set teams and reps up for success. - Account groups are non-existent - Deal sharking across geo regions and segments is a regular monthly occurence. Fight more with other geos and segments than you do with competitors. - No AU data centre - PIP process is ruthless and everyone lives in constant fear. Very quickly you realise that everyone goes on PIP sooner or later which highlights the fundamental issues with it.

Big brother watching everything. Management and HR are for the most part, fake. Tired of getting asked to do a Glassdoor review so here you go.
