Pros
- office isn't too bad
Cons
- some teams extremely political. All levels of management bad mouth each other, even to more junior staff. Culture of blame rather then support. - poor leadership at the director/partner level. No clear clear progression planning for staff and general disinterest in their wellbeing - Some of the work the partner took on wasn't relevant to the teams skills. Sales pitch to client to win work which was subsequently poorly delivered. Highly unethical, especially considering some clients were non-for-profit. - Partner manipulated some junior staff from other teams by dangling the opportunity to work in his team to keep them around for spare resources. Use and abuse arrangement. Permanent placements not delivered as promised. - extreme pressure to come into office, even during peak COVID periods with government recommendations to work from home. Old school leadership and unflexible employee arrangements.
