Pros
- they pay well (but they need to) - HR colleagues who work their butts off in order to correct the issues caused by incompetent management and people who are promoted beyond their capability
Cons
- ex BHP management who look after themselves and their BHP mates - a constantly revolving door of HR Management, all with no HR experience and no understanding of the work, who surround themselves with sycophants and people who are really good at managing up but actually deliver nothing - annual restructures caused by management with no idea and consultants that don't even seek to understand the work - a terrible, siloed, finger-pointing culture - all the good people have been let go or moved on voluntarily - the phrase 'we need to get the basics right' has been around for 6 years
