Working in Data & Analytics (formerly Refinitiv/Thomson Reuters before acquisition by LSEG) was challenging, though rewarding : we got to innovate with the best financial services products and content in the business and fantastic customers. Our market in Asia was the best performing, beating targets and producing remarkable solutions for our customers over multiple years. A lot was due to a great team ethic, sense of belonging, working together, identity & sheer talent.
Cons
The LSEG team destroyed this high performing team. Sacking leaders who knew customers and the market, a drip feed of redundancies throughout the team now leave a shell shocked group with unreasonable targets & low morale. The senior management dont communicate well to customer-facing colleagues, strategy seems wishful thinking and ungrounded in any reality
