Pros

- Nice people and good workspace - Weekly drinks and snacks - Good employee benefits, specifically the extra leave days. - Standard hybrid work model (3 days office, 2 days home).

Cons

- Management and leadership are terrible and incompetent. - Zero trust across different teams, creating a highly siloed environment. - The company cares way more about toxic office politics than technological progress. - Product evolution is painfully slow because leadership is lazy and prefers comfort over growth. - Obsessed with boring business-as-usual (BAU) tasks instead of driving actual modernization. - Leadership completely lacks the vision required to scale the company. - Instead of focusing on growth strategies, management relies entirely on cutting people to save costs, which is unsustainable.

I respectfully and strongly disagree with the views you have around our corporate strategy and product evolution. We have a clear and focused long term strategy, which includes removing technical debt and legacy systems so that we can focus on developing the next level of industry software. Our recently announced strategic partnership with Thoughtworks is evidence of how we are focused on delivering better outcomes for clients, while driving faster innovation and speed of delivery. It also positions us to capture new long-term growth opportunities in global wealth management.

Pros

People, Good central office (Melbourne) Staff benefits are ok

Cons

Engineering management is a let down - poor behaviours, micromanagement, lack of trust - the list can go on. Seems to get swept under the carpet or ignored so patterns continue to fester and have for years.
