Unmatched global exposure. My international assignment covering the Middle East, Africa, ANZ, Central Asia and Latin America was a career highlight. You learn fast when you’re dealing with so many markets, cultures and retail realities. Real leadership opportunities. I had the chance to lead teams, develop talent and work closely with people who genuinely care about doing great work. Helping people grow is one of the best parts of my role. Supportive, talented colleagues. The people make the difference here. I work with smart, driven, down-to-earth teams who made even the tough weeks enjoyable. Strong functional development. Sales, trade marketing, category management, e-commerce—if you want broad commercial skills, Henkel gives you the platform.

Cons

Balancing global frameworks with local needs. Sometimes you need to push a little to adapt things for your market, but it’s doable with the right approach. Regional roles can be demanding. Multiple markets and time zones require good planning and boundaries.

Pros

The job is not too difficult. You mainly work on your own, Pay and benefits are outstanding.

Cons

12 hour shifts. Only one tech per shift so vacations can be a bit dicey. Support from peers is low and there is a lot of back biting in the lab. Sometimes they seem to be lookng for a scapegoat.
