Pros

Enjoyed the many challenges provided in a rewarding role. Opportunity for all my achievements to make a significant difference. Mostly nice people.

Cons

Seriously incompetent leadership team. Useless boss who was finally sacked as was his boss. Not a minute too soon. No wonder the company was going downhill. A trend that continue as other incompetent so called leaders continue to be protected Bullying is the new norm. Male chauvinistic attitudes runs rife throughout the business and nothing is done about it. Male colleagues on same level paid immensely higher than females. Hard work and effort not appreciated. Bonuses promised but not paid despite achieving or exceeding KPI performance. This is no place for a self respecting senior 'female' manager.

Pros

Supportive colleagues, some work trips, company-wide xmas bonus, health insurance

Cons

Unprofessional in lots of areas of the business with inappropriate behaviour seen and tolerated including among leadership team. Senior leadership team had in-fighting and were stale and old school thinking. Bullying behaviour by managers tolerated widely and ignored unless formal complaints are raised. Large issue with culture which leadership are aware of but don't know what to do about. GM changes every few years so big issues aren't addressed cause each leader is trying to make their impact and make popular decisions. Teams work in silos so some do well with good leadership while others dont. Teams often feel pitted against each other because of stress and timelines. Widely under-resourced with big expectations from teams with no recognition of the lack of resourcing and strain put on the team - jobs grow larger and larger as employees leave and aren't replaced.
