      You can luck-out and get a gift of a portfolio to look after handing you good commission for the same workload as others who get none

      I can't think of any. Perhaps paying on time is one.

      The workplace is full of office politics. Many people seem more interested in kissing up to management and aligning themselves with influential people than actually delivering results.
