Pros
- Generous benefits when crypto market is in good standing - Motivating and healthy work environment if you're under the right Organization or Department within - Flexible working hours unless you're in the CS department - Extra benefits for many extracurricular activities or employee needs - Annual Bonus given to consistent contributors
Cons
- Career opportunities have halted for the majority of CS employees - overall experience have reached the point of surrender to many over the past 3 years - CS department's working environment have been declining for the last 2 years - KPI/OKR metrics are randomly decided without fully analyzing and comparing data to fairly justify almost all metrics - Unrelated workloads to the actual role are prioritized and severely focused on "numbers" to reach targets made up by leadership - Data manipulation to reach targets became common practice due to following proper best practice and working with integrity gets punished and even lead to immediate firing since KPIs are treated as "Bible" as the overall basis if you're a good employee or not. - Top performers consists of chronic complainers, narcissistic traits, and complete lack of accountability since making it on top requires you to do stressful tactics to achieve. Previous employees that rised through outstanding merit are demotivated, leaving the company, or working with mediocre effort and have lost interest in the company's initial values when we all started around 5-8 years ago. - No one audits the work of each other, especially in the QA team. A sad irony clouds the entire department doing project manager tasks which are poorly executed in terms of technical writing. The lack of basic English skills of most employees (which should be a non-negotiable skill to have in a company that provides service around the world ) in the roster has never been addressed. They're now saved by AI at least as long as the written report is concerned. Presentation part are still hard to comprehend
