It was more of a conversation about the PhD, why not staying in academia etc. Questions they asked: 1. How I wrote the abstract and would I change something? 2. What motivates you? 3. How do you prioritise things?

I was mainly asked about my experience that was relevant to this particular role.
Why you wish to switch from academics to industry,? Why do you think you can do good here? What are your positives and negatives? What are your future goals- 5 year plan, long-term plan etc.?
Why did I want to work with them?
Also she asked about my supervisory experience. Although the job did not require supervisory work. But she implied that it was a requirement for all management jobs at Amazon
