SUSE Senior Software Engineer interview questions

The interview process started in late September 2023, I got a coding challenge (to which they promised a review/feedback) in early October and delivered it ahead of time. After weeks of waiting for a feedback, I tried to ask if everything was ok, but both recruiter and Manager ghosted me. Fast forward to January 2024, and I got the automated rejection message.

Their European recruitment teams are simply terrible. I constantly get bombarded with advertisements on Linkedin stating that SUSE are looking for people to work in the Rancher team. I really like the products they create there so I finally applied. My enthusiasm was killed by SUSE's recruiters. It took them 3 weeks since my application to send me a mail back. I was contacted by a Polish recruiter and she asked me if I am still interested in the position. The mail ended with: Let me know what times slots are suitable for a call ASAP! I was still interested in the position even though I was already in advanced negotiations with other companies. I literally replied to her email 5mins after I received it. That was more than a month ago and I still haven't heard anything back. Funny enough a friend of mine applied for the same position and after 2-3 weeks of waiting he got the same mail (literally copy-paste) stating that he should reply with some timeslots ASAP. He did but he was never called. As far as I know it was exactly the same recruiter and she did send him 1 more mail after the one with the timeslots, to which he replied that he is interested and never heard back from SUSE. You can keep spamming Linkedin and Facebook with your job offers but if you recruitment is being handled like this you are never filling in those positions :) Would absolutely not recommend the company to anyone as it was literally a waste of time. I did not have such a negative opinion about SUSE before I encountered their recruitment. In fact I liked the company and their products quite a lot. That's no longer the case, so good job on that.
