J’ai postulé en été 2023, j’ai eu un premier entretien avec la talent acquisition team un mois plus tard. Entretien qui s’est très bien passé. Quelle surprise donc d’avoir à relancer 3 fois avant qu’on me recontacte. L’équipe m’a dit qu’ils me rappelleraient, et depuis, plus rien. Cela fait maintenant plus de 4 mois depuis que j’ai postulé, et des semaines que j’attends qu’on me rappelle. Que ce soit pour un feedback ou être progressé, je suis vraiment étonné de voir le peu d’importance qu’on m’a accordé, surtout après le premier très bon entretien. Autant quand je n’ai ni email automatique ni rien quand je postule à un emploi, je veux bien. Mais après un entretien, les employeurs qui ne donnent pas une once de feedback n’ont aucun respect envers leurs candidats, et c’est vraiment terrible.
I applied in summer 2023, I had a preliminary interview with the talent acquisition team a month after I applied. It went very well. What a surprise then to have to contact them 3 times again before I was contacted back. The team told me they would call me back, and again, nothing since then. It’s now been 4 months since I applied, and weeks of waiting for this call back. Be it for some feedback or to be progressed to the next stage, I am really shocked to see how insignificant I was to them, especially after this brilliant first interview. If I don’t even get an automatic email or anything else when I apply to jobs, fair enough. But if an employer takes someone on board through interviews don’t even give an ounce of feedback, it means they have no respect towards their candidates, and that is really terrible.

I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Givaudan
Interview
I was contacted after submitting the CV via Linkedin. I had to do a phone screening followed by a round of interview on-site (Veriner) with the Hiring Manager and other stakeholders.
Afterwards I advanded to the next stage where I had to do an assignment on a real-life work situation and I also did a peer interview.
Having passed this step I was invited to an interview with the HRD.
In total the process took four months, however there was holiday season in the meantime so the timeline was slightly delayed.
Excellent communication throughout the process by the HR Recruiter, I was always informed if there were delays. Very helpful also to answer questions and other inquiries.
Overall a very positive experience in terms of the people involved and the process.
