Recruiter was honest about the culture of the company from the top - which didn't really align with the program I was interviewing for and I appreciated that. It was a box-checking experience without really listening or understanding my background and experience

Thank you for sharing your interview experience.
While we appreciate you noting the recruiter's honesty about our culture, we're disappointed to hear the interview felt more like a box-checking exercise than a meaningful conversation about your qualifications.
Interviews should be two-way dialogues where we genuinely engage with each candidate's unique background and experience. Listening is essential to determining a mutual fit.
We're working to ensure our interview process balances transparency with a thorough candidate assessment, giving each person the opportunity to properly showcase their abilities.
Your feedback helps us identify areas for improvement in our recruitment approach.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Airwallex in Jun 2025
Interview
Internal recruiter reached out. Interview process started with HR screening, followed by technical interviews. All interviewers were late. Felt like interrogations rather than interviews. Last interviewer gave feedback insinuating my resume information was fabricated, because my work experience does not align with his/her understanding. Horrible interview experience.
We appreciate you sharing your interview experience.
We expect our team to approach candidates with professionalism and respect for their time. While it is important to thoroughly understand their background before making an assessment, we expect our team to continue to approach candidates with genuine curiosity and professionalism.
We're working to improve our interview training and oversight to ensure a consistent and respectful candidate experience across all roles and teams.
Your feedback highlights specific areas we need to address in our recruitment practices.
I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at Airwallex
Interview
- Interview process was ad hoc, there was no process. One of the most disorganised and unfair recruitment processes that I've encountered.
- Significant delays between interviews with no proactive follow up, kept waiting a long time
- No transparency around remit of the role or salary package
- No care or diligence when it came to hiring
