Congratulations to our wonderful NT consultant Lucia Mtetwa who was a Finalist for the Customer Service Professional of the Year. The Konekt team had a great time at the ARPA Vic Awards! A huge commendation to our team members William Davies, Paul Korchok and Mary Vetere who were acknowledged for their years of industry service - 10 years, 10 years and 15 years respectively! It was amazing celebrating the contributions of our colleagues in workplace rehabilitation around the state.
It’s always a privilege to see the positive impact our support can have on a person’s life firsthand! When Mark approached Konekt, he was looking for help finding work after a military injury. Tom from our employment services team was incredibly supportive as he helped him on his journey back to employment. As we got to know Mark better, we realised he had some amazing transferrable skills and experience that made him the perfect fit for Konekt. We welcomed him to our Canberra team, where he shares his expertise delivering vital work, health, and safety training. His role accommodates his ability, with tailored working hours and adjusted tasks to work around his injury and mobility. We’ve loved seeing the boost to Mark’s wellbeing and his renewed sense of purpose working with us as much as we’ve enjoyed having him as part of the team.
