Pros
Yeesh, it's hard to think of any. The huge mid-year and Xmas parties maybe? Those are old school (pre-GFC) corporate events. Yeah sure, there's the usual "there are some great people here" but in all honsty, a minority of good individuals falls far short of making up for the actual subject of Glassdoor reviews - the company itself.
Cons
My career spans 20 years and I have never experienced anything like A&G. The laundry list of cons is very long and all you need to do is scan through a couple pages of these reviews to get the gist. In my personal view, every team is always understaffed as practically everyone has the workload of at least 1.5 FTE, some even more. Despite how profitable they are, they underpay compared to market averages (senior leaders practically gloat about it). The business would rather you resign and pay the next person marginally more than you (and pay all associated costs that go with recruitment), than manifest some bizarre (illogical) notion that if it "gives in" to a reasonable request it'll somehow open the floodgates to a horde of employees demanding market-fair pay. If you can find any of the other "old hands" they'll tell you the culture really changed during COVID and it's become incredibly toxic and even hostile towards employees.
