Senior Data Analyst

• Work with iconic brands including Caroma and Methven

• Be the link between business teams and data, owning insights and reporting

This role is a hands‑on Senior Data Analyst position, where you translate business questions into clear, practical insights for well‑known brands like Caroma and Methven.

In this role, you will:

• Own business insights and reporting

• Act as the bridge between business users and technical data teams

• Turn business needs into clear reporting

• Build dashboards in Power BI

• Write and optimise SQL queries

• Prioritise reporting by business impact

The role

GWA Group is home to some of Australia and New Zealand’s most recognised kitchen and bathroom brands, including Caroma, Methven, Dorf and Clark.

This role sits between the business and the data team and plays a key part in how information is used across GWA Group. You’ll work directly with stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Finance to understand what they need from data, why they need it and how it will be used, partnering closely with data engineers to deliver meaningful, usable insights.

About you

You enjoy working with data and people.

You may come from a data or analytics background, or from a commercial role where you’ve developed strong analytical capability. What matters most is your ability to translate data into language the business understands and can act on.

You are likely to bring:

• Strong experience with Power BI

• Solid SQL skills and hands‑on reporting experience

• Confidence engaging with non‑technical stakeholders

• A commercial mindset and curiosity around why data matters

• A structured, organised approach to prioritising work

• Experience with Microsoft Fabric or modern data platforms is a bonus, but not essential.
