Senior Speech Pathologist

As a Senior Speech Pathologist you will be responsible for maintaining a caseload, both in our clinic as well as out in the community. We want you to work with a team of Allied Health Professionals with unwavering determination, pursuing excellence and pushing boundaries to improve lives and lead in our field!

The role unwrapped:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of individuals in the NDIS and community sectors to identify their functional abilities, limitations, and goals.
• Provide guidance, supervision and mentorship to Speech Pathology students and graduates, creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Develop individualised treatment plans and intervention strategies to maximise independence, functional capacity, and quality of life.
• Collaborate with clients, their families, and a multidisciplinary team to develop person-centered care plans and ensure holistic support.
• Provide education and support to clients, caregivers, and support workers to enhance their understanding of speech pathology interventions.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and documentation.
• Stay informed about the latest research, best practices, and regulatory changes within the NDIS and Community sectors.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and professional development activities.

• A Degree in Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
• Current SPA registration
• An Australian drivers licence and reliable vehicle
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
