About the role
PACK & SEND is looking for a motivated, reliable and customer-focused Full-Time Team Member to join our Retail Service Centre.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across customer service, sales, logistics, packaging and day-to-day operations. You will play a key role in ensuring consignments are handled accurately and professionally, customers receive outstanding service, and the store operates smoothly and efficiently.
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive, confident with customers, and willing to take ownership in a fast-paced retail and logistics environment.
Key responsibilities
Operations
- Weigh, measure and consign all packages accurately
- Professionally package consignments to minimise warranty claims and ensure safe delivery
- Complete all administrative tasks in a timely and accurate manner to support the smooth running of the Retail Service Centre
- Track and trace consignments as directed by the Store Manager and provide delivery confirmations where required
- Service and maintain store equipment
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers and delivery drivers
- Embrace and contribute to PACK & SEND’s “No Limits” culture
- Carry out additional duties as reasonably required by the business
Sales & Customer Service
- Assist the Store Manager with sales and business development activities in line with PACK & SEND systems and procedures
- Professionally handle over-the-counter sales, telephone enquiries, web estimate requests and online sales transactions
- Deliver exceptional customer service at all times
- Help identify opportunities to grow sales and improve customer experience
Training, Compliance & Safety
- Complete all required e-learning modules, approved webinars and internal training programs
- Follow PACK & SEND’s WH&S policies and procedures
- Perform duties in accordance with the Code of Conduct, maintaining the integrity of the PACK & SEND brand and its relationships with customers, suppliers and government agencies
About you
Qualifications
- Completion of Secondary School, or
- Certificate IV in Retail, Business or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Minimum 1-2 years’ experience in a retail, customer service, logistics or service-based environment
- Previous experience in freight, shipping, retail operations, packaging or small business operations will be highly regarded
Skills
- Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a busy environment
- Strong attention to detail, especially when handling consignments and documentation
- Confidence in dealing with customers in person, over the phone and online

Pay: $27.00 – $29.00 per hour
